Released in February 2015, Primal Clash consists of 160 cards and 4 secret cards, the set is based on Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire featuring Generation VI Pokemon. The set introduced ancient traits which are special effects that gave Pokemon certain advantages in battle. Ancient trait cards featured artwork that took up three quarters of the card, the remaining one quarter was coloured in the Pokemon’s type. The expansion was the first to begin printing M Pokemon EX as both regular and full art cards.
