Released in March 2004, with 95 cards and 2 secret cards, EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua featured the two villainous teams of the Hoenn region. The set introduced dual-type Pokemon where Pokemon have a secondary type and welcomed the return of the Owner’s Pokemon. Team Magma Pokemon had curvy lines on the border of the artwork window while Aqua had bubbles on the border. If a Pokemon belonged to a team, the team logo was displayed on the bottom right of the attack box.
